The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia is once again organizing the Kemenkeu Satu Negeri (KSN) 2024 event, this time with the theme “Bersatu untuk Mengabdi” (United to Serve). Entering its fourth year, KSN will be held for 5 days, bringing together 154 junior high school students from various regions across the country. The event will take place simultaneously in 5 locations: Jakarta, Palembang, Pontianak, Palu, and Manokwari.

We had the opportunity to collaborate on the entire digital media design process for the event, from conceptualizing diversity to producing merchandise that was applied to 11 types of merchandise. It was a delightful experience working on this project, and we poured our hearts into every illustration, bringing them to life so that the project could reach all participants, especially the school children, with joy and enthusiasm.

Freakie X-Lab is an initiative project that serves as a platform for exploring various mediums that support each other, ranging from illustration and storytelling to product development. Freakie X-Lab also serves as a way for Cipsi Studio to respond to the impact of artificial intelligence on design. It explores how AI can be utilized to enhance the design process without compromising the fundamental principles of design.

The project revolves around a sci-fi narrative about genetic engineering of animals, resulting in the creation of anomalous beings or monsters. At Freakie X-Lab, a team of researchers is conducting a large-scale project involving genetic engineering experiments on various animals, with a focus on reviving extinct species.

We envision Freakie X-Lab as a collaborative endeavor that unites science fiction enthusiasts and creators. To build momentum, we’re promoting the project on our Instagram account @freakiexlab, where we’ll share original stories and AI-generated visuals showcasing the creation of these anomalous beings. Our goal is for @freakiexlab to evolve into a community platform where fans can share their own stories and ideas about these creatures.

This boardgamezine serves as a playful form of reflection, allowing us to reminisce about both joyful and sorrowful experiences in accordance with the times we have lived or are currently experiencing. Life is likened to a snakes and ladders game, where at times we may have to step back and feel sadness, but there are also opportunities to keep moving forward and draw closer to happiness.

By engaging in playing and reading SnakeLadsPol: (Re)Define The Happiness, we have the opportunity to experience happiness, boost our self-confidence, or even alter our perspectives on the meaning of happiness. The microcosmos cards within this game depict a small environment within a city, reflecting the larger dynamics to comprehend the complexity of urban life. Every small component plays a role in creating a bigger picture, and we actively participate in navigating through it.

Present this collection reflection on collaboration being at the heart of any and every creative exploit. working with friends can be joy or an absolute nightmare but we’re all just trying to bring our best foot forward in hopes of creating something greater together.

It is an honor to be a part of Synchronize Festival 2022, which has grown to become one of Indonesia’s largest festivals. Furthermore, Synchronize Festival is an antidote to missing out on your favorite local artists’ frenetic music.

Synchronize Fest 2022’s visual design emphasizes collaboration. Studio Cipsi has been invited as a creative developer, with Saleh Husein as the art director and Rakhmat Jaka as an artist collaborator.

“Local be vocal” is the theme of Synchronize Fest 2022. in addition to the presence of local musicians. Rakhmat Jaka, a graphic designer and illustrator from South Kalimantan, created visuals in keeping with the theme of Synchronize Fest 2022; locales are familiar with everyday life in Indonesia, with unique color choices to make Synchronize Fest 2022 more local and colorful.

The biggest challenge of this project is how we crafted the illustrations that can visually represent the work of PT PP and how these illustrations can be applied to 11 merchandise items: tote bag, tumbler,
e-money, enamel pin, pen sticker pack, pouch, and notebook.

So we came up with this idea. We put the people behind who worked hard at PT PP project, and the project they achieved. Successful project can never be separated from workers who are committed
and prioritize teamwork.

Kota dan yang terjadi di atasnya selalu menarik untuk direkam dalam berbagai media. Hari ini, penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris sering kali bercampur-campur di dalam riuhnya percakapan penghuni kota. Code switching dan code mixing telah banyak dibicarakan oleh peneliti bahasa. Penggunaan dua bahasa adalah keniscayaan di tengah menjamurnya multilingualisme.
